Don’t miss the Daddy of street art exhibitions starting this Friday 9th November. ‘Urban Masters’ gives homages to the best of the best in street art, featuring the likes of Banksy, Blek Le Rat, Shepard Fairey, Roa and Sweet Toof and 28 others who will showcase artworks inspired by older masters and muses.
An intense urban display set in a former Victorian factory in Shoreditch, Urban Masters celebrates the achievements and progression of the thriving street art movement in a most suitable area – Shoreditch, which is now covered in so much street art that we’re thinking of starting up a ‘find the exposed brick’ competition.
Hosted by Opera Gallery, this will be their biggest urban and street art exhibition in London yet, and most certainly one of the most important events on the London street art scene this year.
You may also have a chance to bump into some of the artists yourself in poster and book signings on the day of the public opening of the show: Friday 9th November 2012, between 11am-7pm.
The installation will remain on view until Sunday 18th November 2012. This is one not to be missed!
